Binh An Funeral Home offers a variety of caskets, urns and alternative containers from which to select. Caskets many times appear similar although they may differ greatly in quality and construction.
PROTECTIVE CASKETS
These caskets are designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water and other outside elements. They may be constructed of varying gauges of steel, copper or bronze. There is no scientific or other evidence that any casket with a sealing device will preserve human remains.
NON-PROTECTIVE CASKETS
These caskets are not designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water and other outside elements. They may be constructed of metal, hardwood or wood-product covered with fabric. A complete list will be provided at the funeral home.

The only warranty of the casket or any merchandise sold in connection with this service is the express written warranty, if any, granted by the manufacturer. This funeral home makes no warranty, express of implied including as implied of merchantability and implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the casket.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard of composition materials (with or without and outside covering). The containers we provide are alternative containers made of fiberboard and other cremation containers, including containers made of fiberboard and containers made of other composition materials. We also offer a selection of cremation oriented caskets.
